Hey, the JupyterLab is taking a while to upload, is there a problem with the server? Or is it my connection?

Let me check yours too @Esraa Madi. For clarity @Tal Mizrachi is it just slow or not loading at all?
10:39 AM
And you mention upload, do you mean uploading a file in JupyterLab? Or do you mean the load screen of JupyterLab?

For uploading files this file manager upload is about 50% faster than JupyterLab's upload feature.
10:48 AM
If the loading screen of JupyterLab doesn't work after 60 seconds you should try hard reloading the page (Ctrl + Shift + R). We've increased the robustness of JupyterLab loading so it's worth it to update Orchest to the latest version through the settings page. @Tal Mizrachi (this is for you, as @Esraa Madi is already on the latest version).

Could you open Developer Tools and show the Console? (Ctrl + Shift + C)

Could you click on the Console tab? And also screenshot the Network tab? Likely it will show the error.

I see the issue. It's because the session is unable to start because of one of your services:
12:09 PM
We're currently fixing an issue with the services frontend component which should allow you to make the required changes to the service needed to make the session start again. In the meantime you could create a new pipeline (services are defined per pipeline) or delete the service.

Update on our end: the release is being readied that fixes the services frontend component 👍 . Once released an Orchest update should allow you to fix the offending service (elastic one)
